MY FIRST TOUR DE FRANCE

I had the chance to attend there is a little more than 15 days in the last stage of the Tour de France  in the trailer and on the Champs-Elysées.

The Tower in figures is:

• The third largest sporting event in the world (after the Fifa World Cup & Olympics)
• 22 teams of 9 riders to take the start
• A total distance of 3500 kilometers to go in 21 days
• 12 million of spectators on the roadside
• 3.5 billion of viewers in 190 countries 
• 66,000 cans of water used by runners
• 1400 bicycles and more than 4800 tires

But the Tour is also the Caravan, which is as spectacular as popular.

The Tour is also the village out before each step, where you can admire the bikes different teams, eat a cup of pasta and drink burning coffee.

And especially the Tour it's a real French passion. My favorite moment? Listen spectators runners talk as if they were their coaches and their closest friends. See these adults who greet the caravan & runners with bright eyes of childhood. It is also that the beauty of the sport.
